Application feel and texture

Upon application, unkissed immediately feels very moist, hydrating, and nourishing to the skin. It will feel wet for the first 5 mins of application. Once fully dried down (in 15-20 mins), it settles into a normal to satin finish on the skin, depending on your skin type. It does NOT feel matte on the skin.

A sunscreen that you like using is the best sunscreen for you. This being the most common saying about sunscreens, we ensured unkissed texture is extremely enjoyable.

To achieve this unique texture, we used two technologies to formulate unkissed . The formula incorporates an emulsifier free technology and a capsule technology where tiny capsules of sunscreen filters are evenly dispersed and suspended in an extremely lightweight and nourishing serum base.

It feels like you’re applying a serum, but is in fact a high powered sunscreen.

The unique formula applies transparently and blends easily into the skin, leaving zero white cast.

Long and stable sun protection

unkissed is an SPF 70+, broad spectrum sunscreen with a PA++++ rating (the highest possible rating for UVA protection), providing strong & stable protection against both UVA and UVB rays.

unkissed contains well researched, stable and powerful sunscreen filters, and the capsule technology used in the formula enhances the stability of these sunscreen filters by forming a film on the skin and protecting the filters from breakdown caused by outdoor exposure.

Additionally, the formula being free of emulsifiers, makes it more resistant to breakdown from sweat and water as well. This ensures that the sunscreen remains efficacious for a longer period, reducing the number of reapplications in a day.

Our in-vitro SPF test results demonstrate strong protection against both UVA and UVB rays.

Non-irritating and soothing

unkissed is formulated with a powerful blend of 14 nourishing plant extracts, making it a soothing, nourishing, and anti-inflammatory sunscreen. Further, the absence of emulsifiers in the formula removes a very common cause for irritation on the skin.

The primary extracts in unkissed are Eggplant Fruit Extract (a powerful antioxidant), Dwarf Lilyturf Extract (has strong anti-inflammatory properties), Irish Moss Extract (a film-forming ingredient that helps with dehydrated skin), and Sugarcane Extract (a humectant that greatly aids in skin hydration).

These extracts aid the overall sunscreen formula to be a non-irritating and soothing formula on the skin, making it suitable for all skin types.

unkissed has also been tested to be hypoallergenic.*

*Hypoallergenic testing - An irritation test was conducted on 30 adult subjects, and results were observed at intervals of 30 mins, 24 hours, and 72 hours. No irritation, redness, or skin sensitivity was detected in the areas of unkissed application in any of the subjects at the observation intervals.

Routine

Use it as the last step in your AM routine.

Make sure your hands and face are dry. For the best (non-pilling application) we strongly recommend you wait till all your previous skincare steps are fully dry on the skin, and then proceed to apply unkissed.

Once you’ve dispensed the desired amount (1 pump is enough to cover the face and neck), spread the sunscreen evenly over your face and neck.

The sunscreen feels wet upon application, and we recommend a dry time of 10-15 mins for the sunscreen to settle on the face fully dry. Hence, ensure that you apply unkissed at least 20 minutes before stepping out for a natural finish.

We recommend reapplying your sunscreen throughout the day depending on the degree of your outdoor exposure. If reapplying over makeup, please work in small quantities and gently pat on the sunscreen instead of swiping it on the face.

Yes, unkissed is suitable for dry skin. The sunscreen feels extremely hydrating and nourishing on application. Formulated with Panthenol, Allantoin and 11% of 14 nourishing plant extracts like Irish Moss Extract and Sugarcane Extract, helps the skin feel supple and soft upon application.
Yes, unkissed is an ideal sunscreen for oily/acne prone skin. The watery, non-sticky serum-based texture makes it extremely lightweight and breathable for oily skin types to enjoy through the year.

Yes, unkissed is suitable for sensitive skin as well, because it is formulated with extremely soothing and anti-inflammatory ingredients like Irish Moss Extract and Dwarf Lilyturf Extract that help calm irritated skin. unkissed has also been tested for being hypoallergenic.

UVA rays have longer wavelengths (315-400 nm) and account for 95% of the UV rays that reach the Earth’s surface. They penetrate deep into the skin and are largely responsible for premature skin ageing.

UVB rays have shorter wavelengths (280-315 nm) as compared to UVA and account for only 5% of the UV rays that reach the Earth’s surface. They can penetrate the epidermis and are responsible for sunburns, tanning and skin cancer.

unkissed is a chemical sunscreen which basically means it contains organic compounds. Chemical sunscreens differ from mineral sunscreens mainly in the manner they protect against UV rays. Chemical sunscreen filters primarily absorb the UV rays and release them from the skin in the form of heat. unkissed is formulated with meticulously chosen new-generation UV filters, so you can get the best possible broad spectrum sun protection without worrying about its ingredients!

All the sunscreen filters used in unkissed are pregnancy and lactation safe, and are certified as EWG Grade 1 ingredients, with no toxicity reports or studies for hormonal disruption.

unkissed gets its unique blueish colour from a combination of extracts used in the formula, but predominantly the Solanum Melongena (Eggplant) Fruit Extract is what gives the formula this blue hue. There are no artificial or synthetic colouring agents used, and hence the colour may slightly differ from batch to batch of production, and the colour may also change with usage because natural extracts are prone to colour changes with time.

If you have sensitive eyes, we recommend not applying unkissed beyond the orbital bone on your face. The orbital bone is the hollow area under your eyes, and the upper part of your cheekbones. We also strongly suggest that after you have applied unkissed to wash your hands with soap and water. Oftentimes it’s the leftover sunscreen on our fingers that leads to eye irritation when eyes are casually rubbed during the day.

Deeply Regret This Purchase – Utterly Pointless Product

Complete Waste of Money – Don’t Fall for the Hype

I regret buying this overpriced nonsense. There’s nothing special, nothing effective, and absolutely nothing that justifies the outrageous price tag. No noticeable sun protection, no impressive results — just a basic product wrapped in marketing fluff. It’s all hype and zero performance. Don’t be fooled like I was — this is a total rip-off.

The best sunscreen in the market!

I have been trying various sunscreens off late and no doubt this one is the best so far. Very good coverage and goes well with other products with no pilling. Definitely worth a try!

Fantastic

I am in love with this product, and there is no white cast on your face or neck. It feels soothing on the skin, and even a lazy person, who does not follow any regime, does not go out without applying the sunscreen lotion. Let Unkissed kiss your skin every day! :)

Worst Product from D'you

For the past year, I’ve been using only d’you products—except for sunscreen. I’ve been loyal to La Roche-Posay for years, but during a recent sale, while stocking up on my favorite d’you products, I decided to give un kissed a try, assuming it would be just as good as the rest of their range.
Unfortunately, it’s not.
The sunscreen has a strong alcohol smell that irritates my eyes. It also doesn’t layer well—not with other products, and surprisingly, not even with other d’you products.

The only thing I did like is that it’s transparent, which makes it suitable for all skin tones. But overall, it just didn’t work for me.

Only disappointing product from d'you

This one is sticky, it burns the skin while applying I can understand the thought behind it but I don't like it ,it's the only product I have been disappointed in d'you for rest I love all of them hope they can improve this one.
